Seven-Man Knife Fight In Bow
police have released CCTV of the moment a gang of four black men attacked a group of Asian men with a knife.
Detectives want to identify the four men, believed to be of Somali descent, following the knife fight in Bow in July.
On Monday 25th July, a fight broke out when four black men armed with knives attacked three Asian men outside the Original Taste Fast Food store on Bow Road.
The victim received a deep cut to his left upper arm and a cut across his head. He was taken to an east London hospital where he was treated and later discharged.
The four suspects are described as:
Suspect 1 [ref: 222201] is described as a black man wearing dark clothing. He wore a dark grey hooded jumper and a black puffa-style jacket.
Suspect 2 [not seen in CCTV footage] is described as a black man with dark clothing, with his hood up with a white drawstring and white stitching on his jumper.
Suspect 3 [ref: 222202] is described as a black man wearing a blue/grey tracksuit with his hood up and white writing across his chest. He wore black trainers and was seen on camera with a knife in his hand.
Suspect 4 [no clear image] is described as a black man with a white hooded jacket with blue and white stripes, shorts and black trainers.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the men or who witnessed the assault and ask that they contact officers.
